The clients at this property wished to update the appearance of their link detached property as it was not energy efficient and had become outdated. With the addition of a modern flat roof porch and aluminium glazing they created the much-needed storage space, and feature entrance the clients desired. To increase the thermal efficiency of the house we added external wall insulation with a render and brick slip finish and to compliment the new windows new bespoke aluminium fascia’s were manufactured to account for the external insulation thickness. The changes have not just increased the dwellings thermal efficiency and reduced running costs, they have created a unique one-off home in the process.
