HISTORIC | ST THOMAS STREET, WELLS
Although not listed the cottage at St Thomas Street is located within a conservation area and is under an article 4 direction, it also abuts a listed building so when coming up with a design for a rear extension we had to ensure the design was well thought through and respected the historic setting.
The client wanted to explore a modern solution for the extension to flood the dark rooms with light, and maximise the wonderful courtyard garden and views towards the cathedral.
Planning was granted in 2017 and work is expected to start on site shortly.
